There is no fear, only do.

Do you have a dream, a plan or a vision? Have you taken any steps towards it? Why or why not? The reality is, loads of people have awesome ideas. When I was in the fifth grade science fair, I had two entries. One was using a heating pad as a warmer for a horse’s bit – to encourage them to accept the bridle in the cold frigid weather. The other was a molasses concoction for the same purpose. (Yes, I’m a horse person) Well guess what. Those items are sold today.

I bet you have a similar story. We’ve all got ideas or hobbies that we want to do more with or inventions lurking in the ether of our amazing brains. But why not MAKE IT HAPPEN!? Easier said than done, I know. BUT on the heels of my first real estate investment/renovation/disaster I’m here to tell you to go for it.

Everyone is afraid. I don’t care who you are, how many followers you have (real or fakes) on social media, how many academy awards – everyone struggles with feelings of inadequacy and doubt. The trick to success is to plan and prepare – VISUALIZE what you want to do, make sure you have all the knowledge necessary, VISUALIZE some more but then…. JUST FREAKING DO IT.

It’s not rocket science. If you’ve done your homework, talked to experts, researched your dream then now it’s time to get hustling, sister. Stop your brain from internalizing all the environmental noise – the naysayers and doubters and go for it.

People talk about “The Secret” and all that. Imagining your way to your goals would be nice but the trick to making it work is ACTION. And guess what? The first actions you take might fail. Yup it could happen. But that is not the end of the world. Failure is never as big a deal as your brain would have you believe. It’s actually part of the iteration to success, allowing you to tweak your approach until you get it right.

So if you’ve got a ‘thing’ – a dream, a goal, a project a hobby you want to do more with – today’s your day. Take a step. Take a leap. Just DO THE DOING PART. NOW, not later.

Please! Tell me what your “thing” is in comments!

BUT it is Phase 1 of my goal plan. Action taken!
